Created by Space Lab’s president and creative director Andres Calvo. Born in 2009 as a You Tube comic character which virally propagated and was also showcased on Costa Rica’s national TV. Currently has more than 142.000 Facebook fans, and over 1.700.000 you tube views. El Moradito also has been created as a comic strip for one of Costa Rica’s main newspaper. The Character is currently waiting for his soon to come new activation in a series of short films.

11:11 is a rock band funded by Andrés Calvo in 2008, born as a musical / visual artistic project, it has helped to provide a constant source of inspiration for Space Lab, not only in new experimental design techniques for web and video but also for providing a constant contact with the spirit of music creation and appreciation.
